Welcome to The Local Movement, where fitness meets community!
Our Mission
To provide fun, high-quality fitness experiences that fuse the joy of movement and the strength of community.
The Local Movement, founded by Emily Weber, is a vibrant fitness community offering unique, high-quality workouts that combine the joy of movement with the strength of community. From Sunrise Yoga and SUP Yoga to Boot Camps, Pints & Pilates, and Yoga On Tap, our goal is to create unforgettable fitness experiences that celebrate both movement and camaraderie. All fitness levels are always welcome! We come for a good time because we know we're not here for a long time.
Emily Weber brings over a decade of professional experience in the fitness industry to the table. She holds a Master's Degree in Applied Exercise Science as well as several fitness certifications and trainings. With her knowledge and experience, she has led thousands of classes including yoga, boot camp, cycling, barre, Pilates, strength training, dance fitness, aqua fitness, and more. Emily is passionate about the mission of The Local Movement, and she is excited to welcome anyone and everyone to class!
Emily resides in Fitchburg with her husband, James, and their sons, Malcolm and Ellett. You will likely see them helping at our events, or in Malcolm's case, coming along for the ride!
